Why an institutional byline?

vccguide.sg publishes under a single institutional byline rather than personal names. Our credibility rests on two things that are independently verifiable: every factual claim is cited to a primary source, and every article is reviewed at firm level by a licensed fund manager. We consider a verifiable firm credential a stronger trust signal than personal bylines, and we never invent authors, credentials, or biographies.

How content is produced

Every article starts from primary sources: the Variable Capital Companies Act 2018 on Singapore Statutes Online, MAS notices and circulars, ACRA guidance, and IRAS publications. Claims that cannot be traced to one of these are flagged for review or cut. Each article carries a last reviewed date and a next review due date so stale entries surface for refresh; see our editorial policy for the full sourcing and corrections process.

Reviewed by the fund management team at JCube Capital Partners (JCP), a Monetary Authority of Singapore capital markets services licence holder (Licence No. CMS100895).

JCP operates vccguide.sg, and its licence (CMS100895) can be verified in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory. Review covers factual accuracy against the cited primary sources — not commercial framing, which is governed by the strict separation described in our ownership disclosure.
