What changed?
MAS Notice VCC-N01 (Amendment) 2022 — the first amendment to the anti-money laundering and countering-the-financing-of-terrorism notice for VCCs — took effect on 1 March 2022. The amendment instrument is linked from the notice page's amendment notes.
Why it matters for fund managers
VCCs and the eligible financial institutions they appoint had to comply with the updated obligations from that date. AML/CFT requirements are the part of the VCC rulebook that changes most often — worth a standing check whenever MAS revises the notice.
