ACRA launches new Bizfile portal, replacing the dedicated VCC portal

What changed?

ACRA's new Bizfile portal went live on 9 December 2024, consolidating registry filing services — including VCC incorporations, annual returns, and lodgements — into a single portal at bizfile.gov.sg. The migration retired the separate VCC portal, introduced a Contact Address requirement for stronger personal data protection, and added data-quality features. ACRA online services were suspended from 4 to 9 December 2024 for the cutover.

Why it matters for fund managers

Anything filed for a VCC now goes through Bizfile. Corporate service providers handling VCC lodgements had to re-establish access and workflows on the new portal, and older guides referencing the VCC portal at vcc.bizfile.gov.sg are out of date.
